Aeritalia G.222

- Italian medium transport aircraft shor t take off and landing (STOL). The plane was created for service in the armies of NATO, but the primary user of the remaining Ital ian Air Force. United States purchased 10 pieces of the airplane, which is marked as C-27A Spartan. G.222 is an American-based Lockheed Martin, together with Italys Alenia build the modified aircraft C-27J Spartan, using a piece of equipment and components of aircraft C-130 Hercules.
